Welcome to the Mustain Laboratory for Electrocatalysts and Fuels (m*LEAF) at the University of Connecticut!
Our group works at the intersection of electrochemistry, chemical engineering and materials science to design, develop and implement of electroactive materials. We have considerable experience in several areas including: electrocatalysts for fuel cells, electrolyzers and electrochemical synthesis; energy storage for batteries and supercapacitors; understanding corrosion degradation pathways; and using electrochemical approaches to control biological systems.
There are a lot of exciting projects going on. Please, explore the website and feel free to contact me with any questions or ideas!
